Short term Training Programs

About the Training Program The potential of Marine Biotechnology industry has been well realized now. Many Universities and research laboratories across the nation have started to strengthen their research capabilities on Marine Biotechnology. Government of Tamil Nadu has also initiated a multi billion dollar project to set up a Centre for Marine Biotechnology around Chennai. These developments have clearly shows the growing opportunities in the field of Marine Biotechnology. Very few Universities are offering Marine Biotechnology Course in India. However, such a small volume of manpower could not meet the growing needs of this booming industry. And hence,. The Department of Biotechnology, AMET University is organizing a series of training programs on Marine Biotechnology especially for students who want to pursue research and job oriented higher education.
Short term training
The Department organizes training programs for short duration of 3, 7 and 10 days for both undergraduate and postgraduate students on various disciplines of life sciences such as
v Microbiology
v Biotechnology
v Molecular Biology
v Sea Food Technology
v Enzyme Technology
